When you run the installer, you need to point it to the correct location of your current install to update, otherwise it will make a new install. To recover the situation, remove FYM using the control panel, then re-run the installer and point to your existing installation instead of the default location.

When you run the installer, it asks what directory you want to put it in. You need to choose your existing FYM root directory.

This is what I had to do. go to current installed Run icon. right click it and find the current address (under properties). Copy it. paste it when it asks for a install location.
