Transitioning to a new computer running windows 10. Download and installation was fine. Everything seems to work after installation and I copied everything over from the old computer except it does not recognize me... Am I missing something? It logs me in as a friend of big ernie. Still running on old computer so nothing is lost.

Just a hunch, but it might be the download (I assume you're talking about a fresh game download). The computer probably reads it as a new install.
When I transitioned to a new computer, I just copied everything from the old to the new and it worked fine. You might want to wipe your new installation and just copy everything over from the old.

you need to copy <ROOT>/server1/FYMOptions.zip to the same location in your new install and overwrite any file of the same name which may be there
